Chief Minister M K Stalin congratulated Omar Abdullah on becoming the new Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed his hopes for Tamil Nadu and Jammu and Kashmir to work together towards securing state rights. While Stalin couldn’t attend the swearing-in ceremony, he sent DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi as his representative. Other Indian political leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Prakash Karat, and D Raja also attended the ceremony to wish Omar Abdullah well.
