New Police Help Centres Enhance Women’s Safety at Thane Railway Stations | Mumbai News

Two Police Help Centres have been opened at Kopar and Thakurli Railway Stations under the Dombivli GRP jurisdiction to address women’s safety and rising crime rates in railway travel. The initiative was inaugurated by Public Works Minister Ravindra Chavan. The centres will be manned by police personnel around the clock to assist passengers and ensure their safety. Previously, passengers faced challenges in registering complaints and finding the right authority to report incidents at these stations. This move aims to provide a dedicated space for passengers to seek help and report any issues they may encounter while traveling.
