Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal expressed confidence that the NDA will win in all five by-poll-bound constituencies. He highlighted the development in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and the progress made by the NDA through coordination. Sonowal assured the people of Basugaon that he will discuss with the Railway Minister to arrange for a train stoppage at Basugaon Railway Station. UPPL chief Pramod Boro emphasized the peaceful environment in BTR during the by-poll elections, contrasting it with past violence under the Bodoland People’s Front ruling. Boro believes that UPPL will win by a significant margin in the upcoming elections.
