The Enforcement Directorate conducted raids on properties belonging to former YSR Congress MP and Telugu film producer MVV Satyanarayana in Visakhapatnam in connection with a land grabbing case. The searches were conducted at five locations, including Satyanarayana’s residences and offices, as well as those of his auditor and another accused. The case originated from a complaint filed by a construction company alleging that Satyanarayana and others attempted to grab land allotted to them by the Andhra Pradesh government. Satyanarayana, known for producing Telugu films, recently obtained anticipatory bail in a local police case involving charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery, and criminal intimidation.
