Students at Mumbai University’s Jugonnath Sunkersett Hall Hostel were dealing with a blocked sewage drain and foul smell that made some of them sick. Despite complaints, the hostel authorities didn’t act for two days. Thankfully, Senate Members from Yuva Sena stepped in and the university administration cleaned the drain. However, there’s a broken pipe that also needs fixing. The university plans to meet with municipal officials for a long-term solution. The university spokesperson confirmed the broken pipe was fixed as soon as it was discovered during the cleaning process.
