The incident occurred in Malad East, where Maeen and his wife were returning from a showroom on their bike. A heated exchange with an auto driver escalated, leading to a mob of men attacking Maeen. Despite his wife’s efforts to protect him, Maeen was brutally assaulted with kicks, blows, and stones. The police have arrested 10 individuals in connection with the case, all residents of Malad East. The accused, with various occupations, were volunteering at a nearby Navratri mandal when they intervened in the altercation.
