A man parked his car on the Atal Setu bridge in Mumbai and jumped into the sea on Monday morning. The police launched a search and rescue operation for the man, who drove to the bridge in an SUV registered in the name of Sushant Chakravarti. Passersby alerted the authorities, and teams from the Sewri police and coastal police initiated a search operation. Officials are also trying to locate the man’s family members. The Atal Setu bridge, also known as the Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link, connects south Mumbai with Navi Mumbai and was inaugurated in January this year.
