Money will be credited within 48 hours of purchasing paddy: Nadendla Manohar

Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar announced that farmers will receive payment for their paddy within 48 hours of selling it to the government at the minimum support price. He stated that 300 procurement centers have been established in Eluru district and farmers can choose the rice mills where they want to sell their paddy. The Minister criticized the previous government for creating obstacles during the procurement process and assured that steps are being taken to avoid such issues. Additionally, illegal transportation of rice meant for the Public Distribution System has been detected and legal action has been taken. Various officials and politicians also spoke at the press conference.
