Minister for developing model markets in every district

Minister for Agriculture Tummala Nageswara Rao has instructed officials to develop model markets in every district to meet current needs. He emphasized proper management of godowns with market yards and utilizing unused space for commercial purposes to increase income. In light of untimely rains, measures are to be taken to protect crops like paddy and cotton from damage. The minister also called for swift action on alleged irregularities in DCCBs and DCMSs, with disciplinary action and fund recovery. The meeting was attended by officials from the marketing and agriculture departments.
