The State agriculture minister clarified that the zipline in the Kalaignar centenary park was not faulty as claimed by the AIADMK general secretary. He explained that the zipline works on gravitational pull and was not in need of repair. The minister also defended the quality of equipment used in the park, stating that safety was a top priority. He attributed the criticism to anger over reclaiming illegally occupied land from an AIADMK supporter. The minister also addressed concerns about high fees, stating that they were reasonable and nominal charges were applied for additional services.
