Early Saturday morning, a fire broke out at a furniture shop in central Delhi, trapping 44 laborers inside a nearby building filled with thick smoke. The fire department quickly responded with 10 fire tenders and 60 firefighters. The police from Nabi Karim Police Station also rushed to the scene and began rescuing the laborers who were asleep inside the four-story building. Despite the difficult breathing conditions, the team managed to safely evacuate all the workers from the furniture market.
