The Thane unit of Maratha Kranti Morcha, a non-political group, is planning to endorse candidates for the state elections who align with their cause. Coordinators Santosh Suryarao and Pravin Pisal stated that they will reach out to members and may give political parties time to announce suitable candidates. If no ideal candidate is chosen, the outfit will support their own contestant. A survey revealed a significant Maratha population in three out of four seats represented by Mahayuti in the region, indicating potential support for their endorsed candidates.
