A 33-year-old man in Mumbai allegedly attacked his friend by slitting her throat and then tried to commit suicide by stabbing himself in the throat. Both the man, Dnyandeo Bhange, and the woman have been hospitalized. Police sources said Bhange attacked the woman with a knife after she refused to talk to him. He has been charged with attempted murder and other offenses.
