Man killed, four injured as car plunges into canal in Rajapalayam

A tragic accident occurred near MPK Pudupatti in Rajapalayam when a car fell into a drain, resulting in the death of a 27-year-old man and injuries to four of his friends. The driver swerved to avoid hitting a dog on the road, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. One of the passengers was killed on the spot, while the others sustained serious injuries. Thankfully, two of them escaped with minor injuries as they were wearing seat belts. The car was eventually pulled out of the canal with the help of a crane, and the police have registered a case.
