Maharastra govt appoints ex-CJ Dilip Bhosale to head panel for Ghatkopar billboard collapse enquiry | Mumbai News

The Maharashtra government has appointed former Chief Justice Dilip Bhosale to conduct an enquiry into the collapse of a billboard at a petrol pump in Ghatkopar that killed 16 people and injured many others. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of billboards on government or railway lands in the city. Justice Bhosale has experience heading similar inquiries in the past and will look into the issue once the terms of reference are set. Two more people have been arrested in connection with the collapse.
