Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut stated that 99% of the work on the MVA’s seat-sharing arrangement has been completed, with an announcement expected later in the day. The MVA alliance, consisting of Shiv Sena, Congress, and NCP, met to finalize the arrangement for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Despite delays, Raut expressed confidence in their victory and hinted that Shiv Sena may contest 100 seats. The alliance is focused on forming the government and has been carefully considering candidates for each Assembly segment. Amit Thackeray, son of MNS president Raj Thackeray, will make his electoral debut from the Mahim Assembly seat, while Aaditya Thackeray is expected to win with a larger margin from the Worli seat.
