A lorry carrying rare animals, including gharials and white tigers, overturned in Nirmal district. Two gharials briefly escaped but were safely caught. Despite the accident, all animals were unharmed. The animals were being transported from Patna to Bengaluru when the accident occurred. There was initial panic as gharials are critically endangered. The driver is facing charges for negligence. Forest officials ensured the animals were secure and checked all permissions. No animals were injured, and the operation was successful in ensuring the safety of the animals.
