Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy suggested finding a peaceful solution to the Cauvery water dispute between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka through mutual understanding. He emphasized the importance of sharing resources equitably for the benefit of farming communities in both states. Kumaraswamy urged not to politicize the issue and prayed for abundant rainfall for both states. Additionally, he expressed concern over the decline in performance of the Salem Steel Plant and conducted a review meeting for its revival.
