Legal Briefs | DEO’s school closure order upheld

In Hyderabad, the Telangana High Court dismissed a petition challenging the closure of a school for not meeting fire safety requirements. The judge emphasized the importance of student safety and criticized the petitioner for delays in addressing the issue. In another case, the court refused to intervene in an eviction order in Adilabad district, citing the petitioner’s failure to challenge previous legal decisions. Lastly, two businessmen arrested for possession of banned drugs were granted bail by the court, considering their lack of criminal history and time spent in custody. The judge deemed it a fit case for conditional bail.
