BRS working president K T Rama Rao and other Congress members were arrested while heading towards a farmhouse in Janwada village. A survey revealed that the property had encroached upon the Balkapur nala. The state government is planning to conduct a survey inside the farmhouse. While the Congress alleges that the farmhouse belongs to KTR, he claims to have leased it from a friend. The survey found that the farmhouse had encroached on the nala bed and buffer zone. Officials also found that the farmhouse is illegal and does not have permission. The government is cracking down on illegal constructions in the area.
