Kolkata rape-murder case: Court turns down CBI plea for narco test on prime accused Sanjoy Roy



West Bengal Police brought the accused, Sanjoy Roy, to the CBI office in Kolkata in connection with the rape-murder case at R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital. The CBI had requested a narco analysis test on Roy, but he refused to undergo the test. The CBI wanted to verify Roy’s version of events through the test. The CBI had already conducted a polygraph test on Roy. The investigation is ongoing, with the CBI team visiting the hospital and questioning various individuals. The case was taken over by the CBI from Kolkata Police on the orders of the Calcutta High Court.
