Kerala: Major heartbreak for Kerala woman who lost entire family after Wayanad landslides

Shruti, a 24-year-old woman from Wayanad, Kerala, has recently faced a series of tragic events. A landslide on July 30 took the lives of her entire family, including her parents and younger sister. Just when she was trying to cope with this loss, her fiancé Jenson passed away due to injuries from a car accident on September 10. Jenson was her support system after her family’s death, and they had been engaged for ten years. The couple had planned to marry in December but had a simple court-registered marriage in September. Shruti also lost her savings, gold, and newly-built home in the landslides.
