The Karnataka High Court has refused to dismiss a POCSO case against a school teacher accused of secretly recording videos of girl students changing clothes. The teacher was found with multiple phones containing thousands of images and videos. The court rejected the teacher’s argument that his actions did not amount to sexual harassment under the POCSO Act, stating that recording children in such a manner clearly constitutes sexual harassment. The court emphasized that the evidence presented establishes a prima facie case, and the teacher must face trial for his reprehensible actions.
