Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has warned against the spread of fake news, stating that the government will take legal action against those responsible. He mentioned that special fact-check units have been set up in all districts to combat misinformation. The CM stressed the value of freedom of expression while urging for collective efforts to tackle the issue of fake news.
