Kannada actor Darshan to get TV in prison cell, says he ‘wants to keep up with news’ | Bengaluru News



Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, currently jailed in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case, will be provided a television in his cell so he can stay updated about his case and other developments. The Bengaluru police have filed a detailed chargesheet against 17 accused, including Darshan. Following a controversial photograph showing him with a rowdy-sheeter in jail, Darshan was transferred to Ballari. He and his friend Pavithra Gowda, along with 15 others, are under judicial custody in different prisons. The case involves the murder of Renukaswamy, a fan of Darshan, who allegedly sent obscene messages to Pavithra, leading to the crime.
