J&K chief electoral officer Pandurang K. Pole has set up a total of 5,060 polling stations in the poll-bound districts. Among them, 50 polling booths will be managed by women, 43 by specially-abled persons, and 40 by youths. Additionally, there will be 45 green polling stations focusing on environmental concerns, and 33 unique polling stations. 29 polling stations near the Line of Control or International Border are also established for border residents. The aim is to raise awareness among different sections of society like women, specially-abled persons, and young voters to encourage them to vote.
