Jagan’s Saraswati Power forcibly grabbed lands from poor in Palnadu: Pawan Kalyan

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has accused YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Saraswati Power and Industries company of forcefully grabbing land from poor farmers in Palnadu district. The government has evidence that the company illegally acquired around 400 acres of forest land through manipulation of revenue records. Pawan Kalyan has ordered a probe into the matter. He also highlighted that the company, owned mostly by Jagan Reddy, promised jobs to locals in order to acquire land at low prices. The company’s lease agreement was extended from 30 to 50 years in 2019 under Jagan Reddy’s government, despite lacking environmental clearance. Action will be taken against the company after a detailed investigation.
