ITTF unveil 16 qualified teams for Mixed Team World Cup

The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has announced the 16 qualified teams for the upcoming Mixed Team World Cup 2024 in Chengdu, China. Teams from Australia, Canada, China, and more will compete for the Guoliang-Sorling Trophy. Defending champions China will face tough competition in an innovative three-stage format tournament with 52 matches. Teams will compete in round-robin formats in Stage 1 and Stage 2, with the top four teams advancing to the knockout phase in Stage 3. Matches will include mixed doubles, women’s singles, men’s singles, women’s doubles, and men’s doubles, with each team aiming for the top spot on the podium.
