The Iskcon temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, faced a bomb threat via email, claiming terrorists linked to Pakistan’s ISI planned to bomb the temple. The Bomb Disposal Squad and dog squad conducted a thorough search but found no explosives, bringing relief to staff and devotees. A police investigation is ongoing. Similar threats were received by hotels in Tirupati, all confirmed as hoaxes after thorough searches. The emails mentioned connections to a drug trafficking kingpin and made unsubstantiated claims involving top officials in Tamil Nadu. Security forces debunked threats to other hotels in Tirupati as well.
