Tribal artists from around tiger reserves are showcasing the beauty and importance of tigers through art in Delhi. These artists will be part of the ‘Artists-In-Residence’ programme at Rashtrapati Bhawan, creating artworks that promote co-existence with nature. The exhibition at India Habitat Centre highlighted the stories of tigers in tribal folklore and traditions. The paintings depict the strong bond between humans and nature, showcasing the conservation ethos of tribal communities. Sales from the exhibition will directly benefit the artisans. The aim is to introduce the youth to the concept of conservation and promote sustainable development.
