India, China agree on border patrolling along LAC: Foreign Secretary



Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced that India and China have reached an agreement on patrolling along the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh. The negotiators from both countries have been in talks over the past few weeks to address the remaining issues, with a focus on patrolling activities in the Depsang and Demchok regions. This agreement comes just before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s departure to Russia for the BRICS Summit, where he is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping for bilateral discussions.
