IMD warns of heavy rains in Kerala for next five days | Kochi News

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall warning for Kerala for the next five days starting from Sunday. There is a shear zone running above sea level and a trough extending from Maharashtra to North Kerala. Orange and yellow alerts have been sounded for various districts in Kerala until Wednesday. Heavy rainfall is expected in certain districts, and fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea. High wave alerts have also been issued for certain coastal areas.
