IIT-Madras develops scanner for sports injuries on field | Chennai News



Researchers at IIT Madras have developed a portable point-of-care-ultrasound (POCUS) scanner that can accurately assess sports injuries on the field. This AI-driven technology provides high-quality images in a small and cost-effective device, allowing coaches and physios to make better decisions about player injuries. The scanner, developed at the Centre of Excellence in Sports Science and Analytics, will help customize training programs and improve injury management for athletes.
