Human Trafficking: Man held for human trafficking

A 38-year-old man named Sangram Dass has been arrested by Delhi Police Crime Branch for his involvement in a human trafficking syndicate from Kolkata, West Bengal. The suspect is believed to be the leader of a newborn baby trafficking ring that operates across multiple states. The investigation began when newborn babies were found in poor conditions in Jain Nagar Extension in Delhi on Feb 20. It was discovered that a human trafficking network was behind these incidents, with babies being abducted or bought from vulnerable families. The suspects often deceived the families by promising a better future for the children.
