In Ahmedabad, the city crime branch arrested four more individuals in connection with a GST fraud case. The investigation started when a bogus billing scam involving Dhruvi Enterprise was discovered. The individuals arrested on Sunday were allegedly involved in forwarding files, operating the business, operating the firm’s bank account, and owning another company. Documents belonging to a daily wager were allegedly used to create Dhruvi Enterprise. The case also involved a journalist and several other firms. The scam involved creating fake companies to fraudulently claim input tax credits through fake transactions.
