The Finance Minister will present the Economic Survey on Friday before the Budget Session officially begins on January 31. Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will have discussions on the President’s address to Parliament, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to reply to the debate on February 6. There will be nine sittings in the first part of the Budget Session, followed by a recess to examine budget proposals, and then the session will resume on March 10 to discuss demands for grants. The Budget Session will conclude on April 4 with a total of 27 sittings. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju is working to ensure the smooth functioning of Parliament during this session.
