England cricket captain Ben Stokes revealed that masked burglars broke into his Castle Eden home in northeast England while his family was inside and he was away with the national team in Pakistan. The break-in occurred on October 17 during the second test between Pakistan and England in Multan. Stokes, who had just returned to the team after an injury, said that the thieves stole jewellery, his OBE medal, and other irreplaceable personal items. Stokes expressed concern for his family’s emotional well-being and shared photos of the stolen items in hopes of aiding the police in catching the burglars. He emphasized that his main priority is to bring those responsible to justice.
