DMK principal secretary K.N. Nehru hints at political realignment for Assembly polls

Minister K. N. Nehru of the DMK hinted at a possible change in the alliance for the 2026 Assembly elections, noting that the current situation may not be favorable for the existing alliance. He highlighted the various schemes and development initiatives undertaken by the DMK government while acknowledging the opposition faced from parties like AIADMK, Naam Tamilar Katchi, PMK, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, and BJP. Nehru urged party workers to work towards securing victory in the upcoming elections, drawing inspiration from past election successes of the DMK and AIADMK. He also pointed out the internal conflicts within the AIADMK, presenting an opportunity for the DMK to capitalize on in the future elections.
