During the nine-day Navaratri period and Vijaya Dasami, liquor sales in Telangana crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark in just 10 days, bringing in a total of Rs 1,057 crore for the excise department. Beer sales, with 18 lakh cases sold, played a significant role in this revenue.
