Cyclone Dana Landfall Process Ends, Say IMD Sources; Restoration Work On As Heavy Rain Uproots Trees



Cyclone Dana made landfall in Odisha’s Bhadrak district, bringing heavy rain and winds up to 110 kmph, causing disruptions. The landfall process has now concluded, with no reports of major damage or casualties. Restoration work has begun, and flight operations at Biju Patnaik International Airport have resumed. The weather department forecasted flash floods in 16 Odisha districts. Around 5.84 lakh people were evacuated in Odisha, and over 3.5 lakh in West Bengal. Authorities urged people to take precautionary measures and cooperate with evacuation efforts.
