Justice B Veerappa, the Upa Lokayukta, recently stated that corruption is a more serious issue than cancer. He and his team discovered numerous unexplained online cash transactions on the mobile phones of government officials during their visits to various offices in Nelamangala. According to Justice Veerappa, humans are more selfish than animals, and corruption poses a significant threat to society. He emphasized the importance of fighting against corruption, highlighting suspicious cash transactions ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 70,000.
