The Economic Offences Wing of Mumbai police has issued a second summons to BookMyShow CEO Ashish Hemrajani and the technical head regarding an alleged ticket fraud for Coldplay’s concert. Lawyer Amit Vyas has accused BookMyShow and Live Nation of orchestrating a scam involving ticket sales for the January 2025 event at DY Patil Stadium. The police have issued a second summons as the individuals did not appear for the first summons. BookMyShow has denied any involvement with resale platforms Viagogo and Gigsberg and clarified that they do not collaborate with third-party sellers for Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres’ tour in India.
