In an effort to promote coffee cultivation in Assam, 31 individuals have shown interest in starting new coffee plantations in Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong districts. The Regional Coffee Research Station in Diphu is conducting training programs on nursery management to help these aspiring growers succeed. The first session received positive feedback, and a second session is scheduled to provide further learning opportunities. With a focus on interactive learning and personalized attention, these initiatives aim to boost coffee production in the region and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for local farmers.
