Some parts of Ahmedabad will have water cuts on Friday due to preventive maintenance at the Kotarpur water treatment plant. The plant supplies water to various zones in the city and had to shut down because of a power outage. As a result, there may be disruptions in water supply in areas like the western zone. Residents are advised to use water judiciously until the issue is resolved.
