The Chennai Railway Division is launching a ‘Tuesday – Digital Day’ campaign starting on Oct 22 to promote digital payments among passengers. The campaign will focus on educating passengers about QR code payments and booking tickets through the UTS mobile app. Volunteers will be available at major railway stations to assist passengers with digital transactions, ensuring that people of all ages can easily use these new payment methods. The QR code payment system is now operational at all stations in the Chennai division, making ticketing faster and more convenient for passengers.
