The Chennai International Book Fair 2025 is expected to be bigger and better with publishers from over 50 countries participating. The event will showcase international children’s literature, works of renowned authors, translated works, medical Tamil textbooks, and more. To promote the fair, the Tamil Nadu Textbook and Educational Services Corporation set up a stall at the Frankfurt Book Fair. Representatives from over 70 countries have been invited, with an expected participation of around 50 countries. Agreements have been made to translate children’s literature into Tamil, including popular books from the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. Additionally, Tamil epics are set to be translated into 25 languages, generating interest from international publishers and translators.
