Kerala governor Arif Mohammed Khan expressed concern over MLA P V Anvar’s serious allegations against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the home department, including phone tapping. He emphasized that the allegations, especially of tapping cops’ phones, are grave. The governor stated that legal action will be taken if a complaint is received and has requested a report on the phone-tapping issue. The allegations were made by Anvar against ADGP M R Ajith Kumar for breaching public trust by tapping phone calls of ministers and journalists.
