The eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2025 has been updated to allow candidates to attempt the exam up to three times within three consecutive years. Age limits have been set, with specific relaxations for SC, ST, and PwD categories. Academic requirements include appearing for the Class 12 examination in 2023, 2024, or 2025 with specific subjects. Category-specific reservations are in place, with a 5% horizontal reservation for PwD candidates. OCI/PIO candidates with cards before March 4, 2021, are treated as Indian nationals for seat allocation at IITs. These updates aim to provide more opportunities for students to succeed in the highly competitive examination.
