This was not his first attempt, as he had previously been denied boarding in Mumbai in 2019 for the same reason. Despite facing charges of forgery and cheating in Mumbai, Patel tried his luck again in Delhi. The authorities are now investigating the visa agent who provided Patel with the fake visa.
