Two Village Defense Guard members who were abducted and killed by militants have been found by security forces after an 18-hour long search operation. The deceased have been identified as Nazir and Kuldeep from Ohli Kuntwara. A picture of their dead bodies with injury marks had gone viral on social media, prompting police to investigate. The families of the deceased have confirmed their identities. In response to the killings, people from various communities protested in Kishtwar and other districts.
